About the artist
Allison is a textile artist inspired by the places we’ve been, the things we notice, and the stories we bring home.
Allison creates hand-crafted home textiles that bring together her love of pattern, nature, travel, and the beauty of everyday life. Her work is rooted in the belief that the objects we surround ourselves with can hold meaning—that a textile can be more than something beautiful; it can carry a memory, evoke a place, or become part of a story unfolding at home.
Her path to textiles has been shaped by a career in the live-events industry, a decade as a New Yorker, as well as a background in illustration, graphic design, and theatre. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts: Production & Design, where she spent four years exploring the visual language of storytelling.
Working in live events taught Allison how to capture and produce the moments that move people—to recognize the details, atmosphere, and emotion that transform an experience into something worth remembering.
Over the past decade, Allison’s work has taken her around the world—not once, but twice. Those experiences have shaped more than her career; they’ve shaped the way she sees. Encountering different cultures, landscapes, traditions, and creative communities has given her a lasting curiosity about the world and the many ways people tell stories. That global perspective continues to influence her work, from the subjects she notices to the details she chooses to bring to life.
Today, Allison brings those influences into the home through textiles made by hand and designed to be lived with. Her work finds inspiration in the natural world, the places she has encountered, and the small, often overlooked moments that make life feel personal.
She believes that while a picture is worth a thousand words, the way it makes you feel is worth a million.
When she isn't crafting or onsite for a project, Allison can usually be found curled up with a good book, advocating for human rights, spending time with her cat, or at a k-pop concert.
